Original artwork description:

One of a series of paintings from earlier in the year when I was trying things out, in this case trying to get better at painting skies. The location is on the seafront at Hove UK where I live and while neighbouring Brighton's seafront is busy through the year, Hove is much quieter so here the ice cream kiosk is closed for the Winter. Another limited palette painting based around a blue/orange colour complementary I painted the sky in one session which avoided me overworking it...
