This painting has been created with an acrylic base, then several layers of oil paint applied with palette knives. The sgraffito and splashing technique have also been used and the butterflies are collage. This image is inspired by my love of coastal walks and hedgerows around the world. The canvas is deep edge and painted around the edges giving it a contemporary look. There is cord on the back and it is ready to hang
