The picture was painted en plein air from nature. It was a wonderful day. The air was filled with the heady aromas of lilac and spring birds were singing. The picture was created in one breath, easily and with pleasure. A pair of lovers under a lilac bush was invented by me while creating the painting. The human state of falling in love is so in tune with the state of nature in spring!
