Original artwork description:

What a wild and unspoiled environment is a french Sacred town and important pilgrimage site Rocamadour! Rocamadour is perched on the side of a limestone cliff and towers majestically over the Alzou canyon a and for centuries he patiently waits for pilgrims who want to feel the Black Virgin. Let us also stop at a magical place where time has also stopped.
The goal of my travels in Europe is usually places that breathe history, where you can feel the spirit of the times.
I love wonderful old architecture, where the builders, in addition to functionality, attached importance to even the smallest details, which then enhanced the aesthetic and artistic experience of the building. Many buildings thus became literal works of art, the beauty of which can still be admired today.
But it's not just about perfect architecture. When a person relaxes his mind and mutes external stimuli, he sometimes seems to perceive the imaginary traces of the spirit of time, which have been left here by countless life stories of people living here for centuries.
In such moments, it's as if I perceive the building not only with my eyes, but also with my insides, as if I've merged with it. And it is clear to me that I have to paint this experience. This is how most of my paintings are born.
This one too. I think that it is not only a visual experience, but also radiates the essence of the spirit of the time. Maybe you won't feel it right away, maybe only when the painting hangs in your interior and you look at it in moments of relaxation...
