I confess that I believe in contamination in art. Contamination of different styles, similar or opposed, but also contamination of different artistic mediums. My works almost always arise from an encounter between the kind of medium I know best: painting, illustration, comics. I constantly try to blend elements from these three art forms and I realized that, over time, my research has led me to results that perhaps I could define close to a modern Pop Art, something I hadn't absolutely expected at the beginning of my research. During the last year I experimented with styles and techniques that I had never tried before, I tried to do something that represents me and that I enjoy, never losing sight of the art of the 20th Century which inspires me the most. And I contaminated it with the art of the European and American underground comics that I have always admired. During the last year I have produced a lot of material and it is time to start showing the result here on Artfinder. I think these latest works reflect me a lot and seeing them completed gives me great joy.
In "Love You Too" I wanted to seek harmony between physical love and spiritual love, with two interacting characters, distant but united in a relationship that changes by the interpretation of the beholder.
