Original artwork description:

„Through the storm we reach the shore“

61 x 91 cm / 24“ x 35“ in

Acrylics on sailcloth - The work was painted on part of our main sail. A work with corners, folds and edges, absolutely authentic with history. This sail sailed 30,000 nm around half of the world.

As the viewer gazes at my work, I hope they can’t help but be transported into my world, sailing around the world with my family for seven years. An incredible journey: 7 years, 30,000 nautical miles / 55,000 kilometers, 28 countries. Storms, waves, transatlantic passages, the almost incomprehensible vastness of the Pacific, weeks with no land in sight, isolated islands...

The „Love the sea“ series captures the essence of the sea and sailing, evoking a sense of freedom and adventure, especially offshore sailing.

Shipment ready to hang, incl. frame
(Since I'm not sure if the frame will match your interior, I use frames from Ikea that can be easily replaced if needed. If you prefer to use your own frame anyway, I can send the painting rolled and refund you for the frame and overcharged shipping costs.)

I'm a fulltime freelance artist since 2003, you can find my work in galleries (London, Madrid, Melbourne), exhibitions, art fairs and in collections all over the world.

Buyers outside of the European Union: Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
