Original artwork description:

This is the twelth of my "Love" heart pieces which are made with moulded aqua, blue, gold, and biege polymer clay.

I cut up extruded mod canes to create sheets of clay for these hearts. It's a great method for getting a wide rage of patterns using a limited colour palette.

The sheets were then pressed into heart moulds to form the shapes, and once fired they were attached to tiny foam board plinths and mounted on a white card backing.
