When I think of a safe place this is where my mind wanders too. Rocky shores, beach's that are uninhabited, seas with crashing waves and wind so loud you can't hear yourself think. That's my safe space, and so I often paint storms.

This piece was created in a week of pure isolation and creation, it is pulled from my soul and painstakingly painted onto canvas.
From the very beginning when I picked out the linen in that would be needed for her base I knew this piece would hold a special place in my heart and I hope she'll lighten up yours too.

Oil on a 100% natural French linen canvas- handmade in studio by Sophie, this painting is 120x73CM . Raw edges beautiful frame around the painting and it can can be hung directly without a frame.
