Original artwork description:

Lotuses again! This time, decaying lotuses in shadow at the edge of a pool, with flashes of dappled sunlight. Looking down, the perspective is a bit confusing, with some still on stalks, others floating & submerged. The effect is almost like musical notation, giving a rhythm to the composition.

Materials used:

Pastel on 300gsm primed watercolour paper
