I love watching great flocks of birds getting ready to roost, whether they are starlings, pigeons or something altogether more exotic and it is only a tiny leap of imagination for them to find themselves in groovy pyjamas.

This lino print is the sort that I find a joy to make. Lots of intricate carving, but endless invention (birds, pyjama patterns, flying positions, background textures...) and then a good challenge when it comes to printing in order to get a beautiful print.
