This painting is part of my series titled "An Ode to Bandipur", inspired by my travel to Bandipur National Park in the state of Karnataka, India. Apart from its fame as one of the tiger reserves set up under the Project Tiger Conservation program, the forest is home to a wide variety of wildlife and boasts of a variety of biomes. I spent several days in this national park, charmed by its untamed beauty. My impressionist style and transparent watercolor technique capture the soothing effect Bandipur has on its visitors.
