The artwork depicts the intricate shapes and patterns discovered in fossilized sea shells and marine organisms, portrayed in an abstract manner. By utilizing smooth and fluid brushstrokes, along with a textured surface, the painting successfully captures the organic characteristics of these ancient marine artifacts. The incorporation of abstract elements and a color palette dominated by blues, navy, teals, and silvers allows viewers to interpret and appreciate the piece based on their unique perspectives.

The inspiration behind this creation stemmed from my experiences of collecting shells on the stunning beaches of Sanibel Island, situated on the picturesque Gulf Coast of Florida.
