Original artwork description:

I painted this piece from my imagination, it conjured up ideas of a warm summer valley in France, not knowing that I'd actually taken a photo 5 years previously of almost exactly this scene. The valley was in Southern Spain on a fine Summer morning, I'd just woken up after camping up in the hills. I presume the memory had fixed itself in my subconscious and surfaced when I started this painting.
