Original artwork description:

The movement of the ocean and reflected colors is what motivated me to this painting of the Northern California coast. The seashore in the spring often is the most expressive and beautiful. Here I captured a changing sky of neutral grey rose tones with clouds giving light to the foreground of water below. The ocean is a display of movement with waves and bold to subtle brush strokes as the waves meet the shore. The use of colors and movement would give life to any room and setting.

Materials used:

Acrylic paint on professional linen canvas stretched on kiln dried wooden frame
