This tiny portrait is painted from a photograph I took during a photographic session for the painting ‘Fragile’. Lorenzo, a boy from Vigevano, kindly accepted to pose for that big, complicate painting but, when he entered the studio with the lights and camera all set for the shoot, he suddenly got shy. It took quite a while to convince him that it was fun to pose but, meanwhile, I had the chance to take some photographs of him in some very natural, touching positions. In this particular shoot he was hiding under a table, looking at the camera as if he was playing hide and seek. I selected this picture and used it for a fast, gestural painting.

This is an oil on linen artwork mounted on a wooden canvas and ready to hang. It is signed on the front/back and it is shipped with a signed certificate of authenticity.
