Dusk is settling over the city. A parcel of sky draws us upwards, bordered by sparking metal rails, and by concrete towers that dwarf us. Dark shadows below are eerie, damp patches of darkness. The trains thunder by, dragon-like. The city awaits us, inviting us to lose ourselves, to vanish into the labyrinth. This work is full of atmosphere, of Americana, and rich in colour. The canvas is 0.4 inches deep and can therefore hang without the need for framing if wished. An ideal souvenir of the Windy City, a perfect gift.
