Artwork description:

Graphically bold, an image of two halves. 'Lookout' combines striking architectural form with elements of the natural.
The lookout point is empty, unmanned. It surveys a landscape bathed in a pink hue. A vapour trail hangs in the sky. A memory of something that has passed.
Is Lookout a warning or a vantage point?
The aim of this piece is to allude to, rather than to explain.
Primarily an exercise in colour and composition, the viewer is left intrigued as to what may be happening out of sight.
All works begin as a photo montage which is then hand-drawn before being digitally printed with the best quality inks and papers.
