This is an original hand carved and hand printed linocut, based on a photograph I took when I visited the cultured city of Bologna. It shows people out and about on one of the wide walkways, leading toward the tall, imposing Asinelli Tower (Torre degli Asinelli). I was lucky enough to ascend the almost 500 steps to the top and was rewarded with a fantastic view of the so-called 'red city'. This medieval tower dates back to the 11th century and along with the Garisenda tower alongside it (though not as tall or in view here) they are also 'leaning towers', not quite as famous as a certain structure in Pisa however!
This is a limited edition linocut, printed on 285gsm Fabriano Rosapina Avorio paper.
Your print will come wrapped in protective tissue paper to reach you in the best condition.
If you have any questions relating to the work before purchase please don't hesitate to ask me.
