This painting was inspired and reminds me of Nicte-Ha Cenote, that is a stunning but different cenote: blue turquoise crystal-clear water with thousand of water lilies floating around.
Imagine the sun breaking through the thick vegetation and the feeling of freshness that a cenote can provide, and be mesmerized by the beautiful sight of yellow water lilies. :)
