Looking East..... this is one of the views from London's tallest building,'The Shard'. I grew up here and it's a city that has always fascinated me. The cityscape constantly evolves mixing the ancient and contemporary in a myriad of ways. So much of my art is a also a blend of old and new, time-honoured printmaking techniques combined with fresh ideas.

The process from sketch to final print took some time... preparing the zinc plate, sketching the image with an etching needle, printing proofs, adding an aquatint, spit bite to the sky and finally playing with colour.
Each print from the limited edition is handmade using an etching press and so is in fact an original.

Orders are carefully wrapped in acid-free tissue, loosely rolled into a thick-walled 10cm wide cylinder and dispatched signed and tracked within seven days.
