Artwork description:

Playing old vinyl records can make you nostalgic and can take you back to lovely memories. This has an astrological look about it and is quite map like too. It is a drawing of some staircases that I visited and enjoyed going up more than down! I made it into an etching plate and printed it on top of an inked up record image. I like the glow from the orange ink that is created when wiping the excess ink.

Materials used:

vinyl record. polymer etching plate and printmaking ink on Somerset 300g white paper.
