The model was standing infront of the window before I was ready to pose her and the contrajure lighting really appealed to me so I chose to paint this with the natural light only . It was a challenge because it is very large about 5 feet tall and was the first time I painted this large scale. The Portland fog created the light and I wanted to capture its beauty
