This viewpoint is one that I was excited to paint! It is across from the Pacific Crest Trail overlooking the Sierra Buttes. I particularly find the trail and view unique. This painting was done after a 8 mile 2,500 elevation gain hike. The colors represent an early summer burst of sunshine, flowers, reflections of life.
