"Far and mystical", so I have always seen Mount Legnone, over there beyond the ridge of Pizzo Cornagiera, and the small valley of Biandino, and beyond, where Valsassina stops and gives way to Val Varrone ... he stays there, in the company of the clouds, Lord of the lake and the mountains that surround it.
In this winter landscape, snow is the protagonist, with its many chromatic variations, which change according to the angle at which the sun's rays hit it ... All the work in this painting is concentrated around this aspect in which even the most small nuance can make all the difference.
