This is an original painting created in a mixture of ink and traditional acrylic on 130lb coldpressed watercolour paper of Longstone Lighthouse, located in the Farne Islands, off the northeastern coast of England. The lighthouse is famous for one of its historical keepers, William Darling, and his daughter Grace, for their courageous rescue of the crew of a shipwrecked paddlesteamer in the 1800's.
This painting measures 20x25cm (approx 10x12in) and is presently framed in a classic white frame with white slimline mount. Framed measurements are 35x40x2cm (14x16x1in), and it comes with a certificate of authenticity.
