This is a monochromatic painting that subtly shows the sea. Gently rolling waves, turquoise-green water. Hardly anything can be seen exactly, which accounts for the enormous calm that this image creates. The waves are indicated by lightly structured lines, and sections that show the texture of various layers of paint can also be found across the entire surface.
