Its been 10 years since his mission to a galaxy 15 light years from home. Every night she comes to this very spot, her heart aching for some sign, some twinkle in the heavens, anything to end this deep longing for his presence. Her burning desire and unbearable loneliness permeates the space around her. But there is always that glimmer of hope, that dream of dreams that he will someday return to her and make her life full again.

Created with acrylic paint, spray paint and paint relief. Finished with Acrylic Polymer Gloss varnish for durability and protection against UV light.
Painted on unstretched cotton canvas and supplied rolled in a tube.
