Original artwork description:

The fields around the village where I live in Hampshire have been bleached by the sun almost colourless. A field I regularly walk past was the inspiration for this painting and the weather we have been experiencing was behind the title. Painted on a Burnt Sienna ground Text on left and right edge "Long Hot Summer. Signed bottom right in pencil, titled signed and dated on the reverse. Shipped carefully packed in a box dispatched with a track and trace identity.
