A mysterious figurative Long-eared Owl linocut print from my series of 'Five English Owls'.

The Long-eared Owl, named after it's feathery tufts, which have nothing to do with it's ears! Also known by these names in England: Horned Owl, Tufted Owl, Cat Owl, Pussy Owl, Ceder Owl, Brush Owl, Horn Coot and Horny Hoolet. These Owls with their beautiful markings are experts at camouflage, and spend much of their time blending in with tree trunks often in coniferous or deciduous woods. This Owl is nocturnal and secretive, listen out for the loud hoot of the male Long-eared Owl which can sometimes be heard up to 1 kilometer away.
Printed with Charbonnel oil-based printing ink on specialist printing paper, Zerkall 210 gsm.
Printed in a limited edition of 30.
Please note that this is a hand made product and as such there are very slight differences in the printing of each print, which only adds to the uniqueness of the individual print.

The print will be cellophane wrapped against a mount-board support to protect it; I package items with care and post flat.
