The ever changing ebb and flow of the tide creates endless opportunities for the light to play on the water and land. I love capturing this atmospheric play of light on the landscape and taking its expressive qualities and putting them on canvas through the medium of oil paint.

Through drawings, sketches and photographs I record my initial reactions to my surroundings and on returning to the studio I work on the composition and start to produce the final artwork.

It certainly lifts one's mood to see the beauty of light in nature.

Ebb & Flow is a framed original oil painting created and painted by myself. The back of the artwork is signed and you will receive a Certificate of Authenticity.
