I showed this painting a month ago, but after a week I took it down because I considered it unfinished. It was supposed to be minimalist, but the limited elements and their simple finishing gave the impression of work interrupted in the middle of the process rather than intended minimalism. Now this image returns in a new version.
Picture titled Loneliness is the first figurative work in many years that uses representational realism. It is true that it is broken by the unreality of the presented topic, but this unreality occurs only at the compositional level - the composition seems unreal, but it is composed of realistically presented elements.
In my paintings I try to show the real world as a world of dreams and imaginations. I blur the boundaries of objects, the real mixes with the unreal, the truth with illusion. In my work I aspire towards the reduction of detail, colour and light. Despite that reduction the picture is full of meaning and strength.
This artwork is painted on canvas stretched on wooden frame. I was using professional oil-colours with premium quality colour pigments that have high resistance to fading. Sides are continuously painted, so there is no need to frame. The picture is accompanied with a certificate of authenticity and ready for wall mounting.
The work of art will be professionally carefully packed, shipped and insured. Shipment can be followed to your doorstep with the track & trace code.
