Driving towards the Sierra Nevada from Lone PIne.
The cinematic quality and extreme weather of the American deserts have inspired this collection. It often feels familiar, like a place you know, but have only seen in a movie. I have travelled these deserts for many years, and no road trip or landscape ever feel the same because of the constantly changing light and shapes of the desert.
This image received an Honorable Mention in Americana in the 13th International Color Awards and was also selected by Olympus to feature in their 100-year anniversary issue.
Artwork dimension 50x50cm, this includes a white border of 5cm on each side. Actual image will be 40x40cm. Signed on the back.
