I am Canadian, I live in Ontario and have tread up to Algonquin Park and Canoe Lake where Tom Thomson painted his lone pine tree and I LOVE and am captured by his work. Can you tell? Lol! So, this is my ode to Mr. Tom. I wonder what further magic he would have weaved on countless more canvases had his life not been cut so short. "Lone Pine" is an original acrylic painting on canvas - wired and ready to hang. It is painted around the sides.
