London Painting - City Reflections _x000D_ _x000D_ My paint strokes may seem erratic but I paint following lines of hallucinations which gives the painting a unique depth and is how I paint. If I was to just render a photograph it wouldn’t be how I see the world and it always feels flat when I try. So I keep one foot in this world and another in my inner world. _x000D_ _x000D_ This painting is painted on foamex PvC board which is very strong and very light and can be hung frameless with just a two pieces of Velcro tape. This sounds odd but there is few ways to have a painting sit flat against the wall and this is a perfect simple solution. I provide the Velcro tape for you. You can ignore all that and have it framed which is always best for longevity and protection but it’s completely up to you. I’m a London-based artist, and my work often reflects vivid and surreal imagery inspired by my unique experience with REM intrusion—a condition where dream-like visions can appear while I’m awake. My paintings explore the boundary between waking reality and the dream world, using layered compositions to create a sense of depth and movement. I paint with high-quality materials and put a lot of thought into texture and detail. My process is a mix of intuitive brushwork and deliberate layering, aiming to create pieces that are rich in emotion and invite you to see something new each time you look at them.
