Growing up in a city like London, left indelible marks in Alan's memory and in his paintings. This scene of a nurse walking to the hospital for her night shift work was painted during the lockdown in 2020. The vibrant city of London, now quiet and deserted is a great representation of another difficult time in the history of London.
Always with a great sense of architectural space, Alan has managed to paint in his work a unique concept that stands out from his contemporaries. His ability to abstract the main elements of each city either London, New York, Paris, or Shangai, he creates that image with which the public easily connects and which is part of their own experience is unique.
