Impressionist pastel painting of a pineapple in nature colours on a white background - directly done in front of the object - on a quality white pastel paper - format A4 (21 x 29.7 cm). - - - Mostly I sketch, draw and paint directly from nature, in front of a model or object - keeping this practice feeds into my work as a sculptor, printmaker and conceptual artist. Such a 'soft pastel object' breathes so much authenticity, holding it in your hands you will feel its preciousness.

The very handy collection format is A4 - 21 x 29.7 cm - the actual image about 19 x 27.5 cm leaving an about 1 cm edge from having been masking taped during its making - that edge however can hardly be noticed due to the white background and the white paper. All reasonable efforts are made to provide a good representation of colour, however due to computer monitor limitations, some variation may occur.
