This artwork is created with endless straight sharp lines using a pattern & rhythm which results in a contrast between very thin lines about 1mm and 4mm wide, placing dark colours against more vibrant and lighter ones creates strong contrast and mixed effects of depth and movement. This artwork changes with different light falling on it and the angle and distance at which it is viewed can change the feel of it and can 'vibrate' at times. This is an acrylic painting on heavy 300 gsm paper and the stripes have been carefully painted ,often over other colours with subtle texture and sharp edges. An earthy colour palette was used with a small use of light blue. This painting has a 1.5 cm white unpainted border all around it ,it is unframed and signed on the lower right. Fits well on A1 size frame.
