Original artwork description:

Anemones are one of my favourite flowers. These were on the deep windowsill of a friend's Victorian Cottage in the Shropshire countryside. A couple of pieces of tarnished silverware add to the timeless presence of the painting. My favoured muted colours are slightly textured and worked with a pallette knife as well as brush.
