Original artwork description:

This is the first large-scale work to come out of my lockdown period. As it happened, an old physical problem has made me one of the 'most vulnerable', hence my disappearance from my old artistic haunts, and signals the end, I think, of two decades of glass sculpture creation.

During lockdown, however, I have created a visual lockdown journal: more than 70 sketches and small artworks, some of which are available as limited editions here on Artfinder. This is the first to be reworked as a large-scale work, as it deserves to be.

Isolation. A collage: part drawing, part digital, part painting, part print, and part photography. Created in isolation.

It's now here on canvas, professionally mounted and stretched, signed by me, with a certificate of authenticity.
