Lockdown 5 was painted in early August 2020, a time of relaxation of covid-19 restrictions in the UK, but also a time of uncertainty about whether there would be a second wave.
It is a relaxing an harmonious monochrome, that would suit a variety of settings. It looks great in the artist's Victorian home, but would also suit a modern apartment. It could be purchased with Lockdown 6, as they form a lovely pair of small paintings.
It is ready to hang.
Materials used:
Acrylic paint brushed over canvas. Some additional paint added with a palette knife.
