"Lockdown 4" was painted in early August 2020, when covid-19 restrictions had been relaxed in the UK but we were all expecting a second wave. I used a new method to create this abstract. I put a small amount of dilute white, black and copper paint in a tin and shook it over the painting. The result is quite different from my other paintings. It is a restful and relaxing painting but at the same time is full of energy and life.
It would look great in a variety of settings. from an old house to a modern apartment. It is ready to hang.
Acrylic paint brushed over canvas. More paint added by a variety of techniques.
