Original artwork description:

This painting started life as an impressionistic view of a beautiful town in northern Italy. I wasn't happy with it, so I over-painted it twice using palette knives and brushes. The second over-painting was during the second phase of lockdown in the UK, hence the title. Now almost nothing is left of the original apart from the splendidly vibrant colours and light.

Please note that this was painted on Artist Canvas Board (100% cotton) and is not ready to hang.

Materials used:

Acrylic paint brushed over canvas. Additional paint added with a palette knife and finally brushwork with a large brush.
