acrylic colour on Terschelling raw watercolour paper 22 x 30 inches.
One fine day heading to JJ weekend market ,in Bangkok… I came across some antique vendors and their displays. There was lots of inspiring things there… the arrangement of old brass locks really caught my eye, and my imagination.
This is painted on a raw paper, which takes the paint quite differently from a pressed paper. The result worked out well for this subject. The close up pictures are to get a better feel for the texture and brush strokes of the painting. Then there’s the work in progress.
