A look at the ruined castle overlooking the loch on this bright, but cold, autumn day. The surface seems so calm and yet icy. The colours of the sky indicate the patterns of the land and the seasons. The one day of hope in a brisk onrush of winter. The ever present figures of a potential prehistoric creature waiting to breach and steal the attention and centre of the artwork. With Aleister Crowley's summoned spirits waiting to occupy the castle like it is still a fort to be reckoned with when the day draws to an end. A place of imagination, that could easily be the backdrop of a collection of fantasy stories. The Scottish landscape gives breath to thoughts and myths we dispel in other places.
