This painting was exhibited at the Mall Galleries in London in June 2024 as part of the Society of Women Artists summer show - opened as usual by Princess Michael of Kent
.48x42cms overall dimensions. 19x16 inches approx.

Inspired by a visit to the Hebrides and the Isle of Lewis.
The palette is taken from the gorgeous russets and orange colours of the late summer grasses as well as the lochs that abound everywhere.

Framed in a contemporary St Ives style wood frame painted white to offset the vibrancy of the colours.
The artwork comes ready to hang.
The painting is shipped wrapped in several protective layers before being placed in a sturdy cardboard box.
I always send my paintings by tracked courier for extra security.
