A modern impressionist Scottish lake landscape painting inspired by the small lochs of the Scottish Highlands surrounded by flowering heather moorland. In this small study i have tried to convey the atmosphere and mood of an early morning or late evening scene, with still waters and a misty cloudy sky.
Painted in muted magenta purple and blue with a cloudy grey sky.

Painted using quality artists acrylics on a small square format 8" x 8" (20 x 20cm) canvas, with a varnish finish and white wooden frame with cord ready to hang.
