An impressionist oil study of the shores of Loch Broom near Ullapool in the highlands of Scotland.
In this Scottish landscape painting I have tried to convey the tranquil atmosphere of a murky grey misty day with low lying clouds and light rain, on the shores of this sea loch with the rugged hills beyond. Painted in cool blue and grey tones to match the moody atmosphere, with the water of the sea quietly lapping the shore.

Painted with a palette knife and fingers, using quality artists oils on a square format 10" x 10" (25.5 x 25.5cm) deep box canvas, with a varnish finish and natural wooden frame with cord ready to hang.
