A dramatic Scottish landscape painting of Loch Broom near Ullapool in the highlands of Scotland. Painted on a lightly textured canvas in a modern contemporary semi abstract impressionist style in muted, grey, purple and blue colours. In this small study I have tried to portray the mood and atmosphere of a wild stormy night beside this loch on the west coast of Scotland. With cloudy and dramatic skies and sea and the moonlight shining on the sea.

Painted with a palette knife and fingers, using quality artists acrylics on a small square format 8" x 8" (20 x 20cm) canvas, with a varnish finish and white hand painted wooden frame with cord ready to hang.
