While his wife Hera slept, Zeus took the opportunity to attach little Heracles, the son of the mortal Alcmene, to her breast.
In this way Heracles would have become immortal.

But a few drops of milk splashed away into the sky... and went on to form the Milky Way.

The term “galaxy” derives from the Greek word “γάλα”, or “milk”.

The work has thick edges and is painted white, so it does not require a frame and is ready to hang.
