Llyr is a masculine sea deity, personification of the energies stored in the ocean. Every culture gave him different name and placed him within context of different mythology. It's arbitrary really, as is the tiltle I've chosen here - what's real is what it stands for. The power of water within nature, the deep and wast spaces of the ocean that we still need to explore and come to terms with. This is what the figure personifies for me.
